Package: citadel-server
Version: 8.24-1+b3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Installed Citadel by running the following command line:

root@trada:~# aptitude install citadel-client citadel-server citadel-webcit

   * What was the outcome of this action?

1) Received errors like the following when doing restarts (note that the
directory /etc/citadel/netconfigs is not present):

citserver[15736]: Failed to adjust ownership of: /etc/citadel/netconfigs/7
 [No such file or directory]

2) Error email about Startup problems; "Citadel had trouble on starting up. We
couldn't bind all ports you configured to be provided by citadel server.":

The failed ports and sockets are: TCP port *:25: (SMTP-MTA)

3) Entered an initial user and set it's password but was not able to log in
that way after the package was installed.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

1&2) Start up without errors.
3) Being able to log in with the user and password entered during the package
install.
