For some reason on my Sid system the produces calendar containes underlines,
which also appear above the calendar in the output and also the weekday <-> day
number association is wrong. Everything works as expected on my stable system.
A screenshot is attached.

I found the following workaround to get the correct results:

CAL_CMD="ncal"
CAL_ARGS="-b -h -M"
