Package: xfonts-bolkhov-75dpi Version: 1.1.20001007-8.1 Severity: important Tags: a11y l10n Dear Maintainer, The recent package of the fonts (1.1.20001007-8.1) was built wrong in some way. One of the Cyrillic glyphs is missing, specifically it is letter 'u' (codenamed 'afii10085', encoding number 1091). Its original Cyrillic glyph should look similar to Latin glyph 'y' but it was replaced with the Latin glyph 'u'. I have converted the PCF file (specifically it is /usr/share/fonts/X11/75dpi/courR12c_c.pcf.gz) installed from the recent package with pcf2bdf utility and found the following: STARTCHAR afii10085 ENCODING 1091 SWIDTH 600 0 DWIDTH 7 0 BBX 7 6 0 0 BITMAP CC 44 44 44 44 3A ENDCHAR Though the courR12c.bdf from the source archive has: STARTCHAR afii10085 ENCODING 1091 SWIDTH 600 0 DWIDTH 7 0 BBX 7 9 0 -3 BITMAP EE 44 44 28 38 10 10 10 60 ENDCHAR I did a local rebuild of the source package and it produces correct fonts, so it looks like a problem in Debian package build system. I may suppose that simple rebuild could help to fix this.
