Package: libreadline4
Version: 4.3-4
Severity: wishlist
File: libreadline

Please add option to echo character by the library (for the case when the
terminal doesn't echo "stty -echo").

It can be done even without a configuration option. libreadline could check
the terminal settings and do echo itself if terminal does not do echo.

It is useful to correctly turn echo off
