Package: xpp
Version: 1.1-0.2
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

can you provide a wrapper script with the package with starts lp if no
$DISPLAY is set, otherwise start xpp. So you can replace lp with this
wrapper and it's not necessary to touch any application to use xpp.

Maybe you can add a debconf question to enable this wrapper (with
dpkg-divert) on install time.

And maybe, xpp can itself provide this behaviour (no $DISPLAY -> call lp
direct).
