Package: mouseemu Version: 0.15-10 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I use xmodmap to swap my Mac's control and Apple keys, but when I restart the mouseemu daemon it breaks my xmodmap settings and the control and Apple keys revert. "sudo /etc/init.d/mouseemu stop" doesn't effect xmodmap, only "start" and "restart". Running mouseemu as a simple command with options also breaks it. I have "xmodmap .Xmodmap &" in my autostart file, so I guess the mouseemu daemon loads before the autostart file on boot, and that's why everything starts up okay. The simple workaround is to rerun "xmodmap .Xmodmap". -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages mouseemu depends on: ii libc6 2.19-13 ii procps 2:3.3.9-8 mouseemu recommends no packages. mouseemu suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
