Package: irda-utils
Version: 0.9.18-10
Severity: normal

Hello,

I am runing linux to import my files from the psion 5 but not working.

So the procedure of the issue:
I am plugging the irda dongle and do :

    modprobe crc_ccitt
    modprobe irda
    modprobe stir4200
    modprobe ircomm
    modprobe ircomm_tty
    irattach irda0 -s
    synce-serial-start

that let me start the irda, and I type:
  irdadump irda0
and get :
08:38:09.082995 xid:cmd ffffffff < 1abd9781 S=1 s=* Psion Series 5 hint=8204 [ PDA/Palmtop IrCOMM ] (37)

so all works fine wiht my irda dongle.

so now irpsion5
# irpsion5 -s testfilesending.jpg
Sending to Psion Series 5
Expecting mtu to be 2045, investigate!
Problem: only sent 253 of 2044

It is apparently an issue in the deb, all should work without troubles. It is linux, debs are great and reliable !!

Debian is great, and we daily work hard alltogether to make it even better!!
