Package: capi4hylafax

-- System Information:
Debian Release: 3.1
  APT prefers testing
  APT policy: (500, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.8
Locale: LANG=de_DE@euro, LC_CTYPE=de_DE@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15)

Versions of packages capi4hylafax depends on:
ii isdnactivecards 1:3.3.0.20041110-1 support for active ISDN cards and
ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii libcapi20-2 1:3.3.0.20041110-1 libraries for CAPI support
ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library
ii  libstdc++5            1:3.3.5-8          The GNU Standard C++ Library v3
ii libtiff4 3.7.1-3 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra

 MY PROPOSAL:
 /var/spool/hylafax/bin/* /usr/local/sbin executed during
capi4hylafax installation would users give the ability to use clients
and the sendfax command for sending faxes. Since c2faxsend only accepts
fax-TIFF files, the files to be transmitted have to be converted. With
the default setup the commands for file-conversions can not be found
since the path's given in hylafax/etc/setup.cache direct the system to
empty directories. With an analog modem Hylafax works without this
change. This is the reason why I propose to make this change during
 capi4hylafax setup.
