Package: systemd-sysv Version: 208-6 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** Recently(over 2 weeks), I noticed my system can not normal shutdown, even as root (/sbin/shutdown -h now). (but not everytime, sometime can normal shutdown, but usually can not) When I type /sbin/shutdown -h now (as root), my system will exit Xorg/xfce4 to console mode, then hang on it without any response (alt-ctrl-delete, Ctrl-c), until I put the power/reset button. I see some error/warning messages in /var/log/syslog, like this when shuting down: (ulatencyd:1173): WARNING **: pid: 10735 parnet 10731 missing. attaching to pid 1 So I try to remove ulatency/ulatencyd package, after that, my system can normal shutdown everytime. My english is so bad, what I want to say is: 1. When installed ulatencyd, my system can not normal shutdown. (but not everytime) 2. when remove ulatencyd, my system can normal shutdown everytime. Thank you. ulatency/ulatencyd version is: 0.5.0-9 systemd-sysv version is: 208-6 *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages systemd-sysv depends on: ii systemd 208-6 systemd-sysv recommends no packages. systemd-sysv suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
