regexxer was orphaned 8 years ago. [1]

Its last upstream release, 0.10, was in 2011.

Although there has been some activity in git [2], I think we can consider this software unmaintained if it never does releases.

It is blocking the eventual removal of gconf from Debian. Therefore, I intend to file a removal bug for this package soon.

depends on it.
