Package: gnome-ppp
Version: 0.3.23-1
Severity: important
Debian Release: 5.0.4
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core)

When I first connect to the internet there isn't a problem. However,
after disconnecting, I have to reboot the system in order to browse the
web again. It always happens like this:

1. I use gnome-ppp to dial my isp, and it establishes a connection.

2. Disconnect from my isp and close gnome-ppp.

3. Open gnome-ppp again and reconnect to my isp.

4. I can hear the modem dial, and can also hear the white noise from the
speakers as the modem makes a connection.

5. However, opening any browser (iceweasel for example) is to no avail -
I cannot view any web page. The only way I can browse the web again the
right way, is to reboot the system and open gnome-ppp again.

I am using a Zoom USB Modem Model 3095, with the proper Debian drivers
installed from the manufacturer, on a Winbook J4 Laptop, Pentium 4 cpu,
with 768 MB of RAM.
