Package: hamster-applet
Version: 2.28.0
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop 64bit, and I really like the hamster-applet, but Ubuntu doesn't accept bug reports for this package.
At the end of each day I like to send my activity log to someone via email.
Currently, the only way I've discovered to do this is to:
(1) maximize the hamster-applet window,
(2) Increase the size of panel 1,
(3) Press the Print-Screen button,
(4) open gimp
(5) Crop the Image of the Activity Panel.
(6) Attach the image I've cropped as file attachment
All this work could be eliminated if the hamster-applet would simply offer a "Copy Activity Board to Clip Board for pasting elsewhere" feature.
I like hamster, but it needs features for saving activity logs to a file you can send someone, or offer this clipboard feature I'm mentioning.
The user interface offers no way to output the valuable information that hamster collects!
