Is there anyone else than can provide feedback on this patch / branch?

Either by:

* Installing live-build with this applied patch
* Building your iso and check if it boots in both BIOS and UEFI mode.
* Check non usual UEFI machines.

I suspect it's fine to wait for one week for feedback.
After that time I'll try to request a proper pull / insertion into Debian's
live-build repo and probably into live-build package binaries.

I can give a try to your patchset but I'm currently in vacation so it
would not be before the third week of August.

This is just FYI but you don't have to wait on my feedback to get your
work merged if people are happy with it.

Cheers,

I have CCed Kristian Klausen whom it's willing to pull/push my patches.

By the way my patches are aimed at master branch. Not sure if the current protocol allows to add new changes to master branch. But, well, if I'm not mistaken this is the Jessie branch and we need these changes for Jessie.

If it makes sense from the Debian release team point of view of course. Maybe the Jessie's live-build package cannot have any more updates. Can anyone shed light on this concern of mine?

The branch to merge would be: https://github.com/rescatux/live-build/tree/efi_support_based_on_debian_cd_rebased_9 .

I forward to Kristian Klausen the decision on whether to wait for Raphael Hertzog feedback or not.
