Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
	I ran apt-get upgrade and nvi was upgraded.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
	I tried to run a bash script that I was editing (my standard proctice).
   * What was the outcome of this action?
	The script would not run.
	AH01215: (26)Text file busy: exec of 'message-get' failed
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
   The script to run.
   * What did you do next?
   Rolled back nvi to the 1.79-26 version
   * What did you do after that?
   Filed this bug report
