Package: pdnsd
Version: 1.1.10par-1
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/doc/pdnsd/html/faq.html

Add a index to the top, so we can know what all the questions are
without needing to dig.

Same with /usr/share/doc/pdnsd/html/doc.html etc., no TOC or whatever, at top.

By the way, in doc.html:
If pdnsd was compiled with debugging options enabled, you may specify
-g or --debug on the command line. This will cause extra diagnostic
messages to be printed. When pdnsd runs in deamon mode, the messages
will be written to the pdnsd.debug file in your cache
    directory. --nodebug disables debugging.

pdnsd -vn sets the verbosity level of pdnsd. n may be a digit from 0
to 3, where 0 means normal operation, while 3 will most
    verbose. Example is -v2

Saying these two paragraphs together makes one think -v would affect
the -g messages, however it seems -v only affects syslog messages.

The option -t or --notcp disables the seldom needed TCP server
     thread,

But no mention is made of how to know if one needs this "seldom
needed" item or not, whatever it is.

Comments may be onclosed in /* and */,

onclosed?

in doc.html#pdnsdctl if you examine the html source, you see tons of
empty <td>'s. No wonder there's acres of blank space rendered. BTW
../txt/* has tons of trailing blanks, do
$ zgrep \ $ /usr/share/doc/pdnsd/txt/*|wc -l
1105
As I mentioned in a different Debian bug.

Also the docs aren't clear if tmoestl@gmx.net still wants to get bug
reports or not.

BTW
root@jidanni.org# pdnsd-ctl status
4216 of 534528 bytes (0.789%) memory cache used in 14 entries.
OK, but how to dump the entries to the screen? Not documented.
/var/cache/pdnsd/pdnsd.cache is only 4 bytes big.
