I also had this error:

/usr/bin/apt-move: 1232: /usr/bin/apt-move: cannot open /tmp/MOVE_tulVnB/make_pkg_files-fifo2: Interrupted system call

For myself, I solved this problem in a way:

file apt-move in line 1222 + /bin/sync

in debian wheezy it works!


For debian jessie:

1222 + /bin/sync
and replaced an awk(simlink to gawk) to mawk

then it works
