Package: gpointing-device-settings Version: 1.3.1-1 Severity: normal gpointing-device-settings does not maintain the settings over a logout (such as when I reboot). This is quite annoying, since I really don't want the touchpad on, ever, and I am forced to turn it off every time I log in. In order for this package to be a viable alternative to gsynaptics, it needs to maintain its settings properly, or at least have an option to do so. Otherwise, please reopen 523396 (and return it to grave severity). -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-rc5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gpointing-device-settings depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.26.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.9-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.6-2+b1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-4.1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgconf2-4 2.26.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.1-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgpds0 1.3.1-1 library for configuration of point ii libgtk2.0-0 2.16.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.24.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libxi6 2:1.2.1-2 X11 Input extension library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime gpointing-device-settings recommends no packages. gpointing-device-settings suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 713 440 7475 | http://crustytoothpaste.ath.cx/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187Attachment: signature.asc
