I've just tried both
$ haxe Test.hx -main Test -swf test.swf
and
$ haxe -main Test -swf test.swf # as suggested in upstream bug
They both successfully generated test.swf with no output.
Unless you provide a valid testcase to reproduce it, bug will be closed.
In the meanwhile downgrading to normal.
