PS: Could you consider a team maintenance ? There are patches + a watch files in the BTS which have
been waiting for a while.

Fish 2.1.1 was already uploaded, although unfortunately it will not be
in jessie. I will look at uploading to jessie-backports once jessie is
released, however.
