FTE is an orphaned package, so this request went to a general purpose mailing list where there isn't necessarily anyone familiar with this specific package. Upstream (http://sourceforge.net/projects/fte/) seems inactive, so there seems little prospect of help from there. So, overall, the chances of anyone being able to help with your request are slim.
