Bug#772504: mouseemu: breaks xmodmap key swapping
Package: mouseemu
Version: 0.15-10
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I use xmodmap to swap my Mac's control and Apple keys, but when I restart
the mouseemu daemon it breaks my xmodmap settings and the control and Apple
keys revert. "sudo /etc/init.d/mouseemu stop" doesn't effect xmodmap, only
"start" and "restart". Running mouseemu as a simple command with options
also breaks it. I have "xmodmap .Xmodmap &" in my autostart file, so I
guess the mouseemu daemon loads before the autostart file on boot, and that's
why everything starts up okay.
The simple workaround is to rerun "xmodmap .Xmodmap".
