does _not_ fix #700896, at least not if Agustin's description is
correct (and I don't expect wdm to look up dpkg's or apt's package
database):
You just added a "Provides" package header, but you need to use
update-alternatives in your maintainer scripts to fix the issue, too.
This can be easily done by using "dh_installwm" in your debian/rules.
