Package: fortune-mod
Version: 9708-36
Severity: normal

See bug #225535 for detailed information. For now I can only say
9708-36 did not fix it:

adi@drcomp:~$ fortune .mutt
No fortunes found
adi@drcomp:~$ fortune /home/adi/.mutt
I used to drive a Heisenbergmobile, but every time I looked at the
speedometer, I got lost. (old joke, seen in de.talk.jokes)

This bug seems a duplicate of #308602. Files with a leading "." are not valid,
either with absolute or relative paths. I'm not willing to apply the patch to
the package, then.

Please, feel free to reopen the bug or mail me directly (I adopted this
package) if you want to discuss further.
