Package: boa
Version: 0.94.11-3
Severity: normal

This is a very anoying bug, but I don't know if it's actually related
to "boa" or "apt-get". I have a debian mirror in one of the office PC's,
mantained with "apt-move". I export it using "boa" webserver, and update
the rest of the PC's with it. The following error is common:

----------------------------
# apt-get update
Get:1 http://pc2 testing/main Packages [281kB]
Err http://pc2 testing/main Packages
Error reading from server - read (104 Connection reset by peer)
----------------------------

When it's hit, it happens again and again in the same file (it can
happen in the "update" as seen abobe or when getting files).
But if I use an http proxy in the client, the error goes away. Also,
I can download the file with "wget" or with a web browser witout
problem. And if I use another web server instead of "boa" the error
also don't happen...

I hope you can reprouce it...

    Daniel.

I can't reproduce this issue either (today, with apt 0.9.8.2 and boa
0.94.14rc21-4):

Get:12 http://localhost sid InRelease [21.0 kB]
Hit http://localhost sid/main Sources
Hit http://localhost sid/main i386 Packages
Ign http://localhost sid/main Translation-en_GB
Ign http://localhost sid/main Translation-en

Unfortunately the mentioned tcpdump never arrived in this bug report.
But since apt has changed a lot in the past 10 years, I suspect this
is really no more reproducible with current versions of apt.

Hence I close this issue herewith. In case anyone can reproduce this
issue, feel free to reopen this bug report. Please attach the tcpdump
directly to the mail to this bug report so it doesn't get lost, even
if it's a megabyte or such.
