Bug#691851: lastfmsubmitd: logrotate fails because of wrong permissions for /var/log/lastfm/
Package: lastfmsubmitd
Version: 1.0.6-4
Severity: normal
The error message is pretty straight-forward:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: skipping "/var/log/lastfm/lastfmsubmitd.log" because parent directory
has insecure permissions (It's world writable or writable by group which is
not "root") Set "su" directive in config file to tell logrotate which
user/group should be used for rotation.
`chmod g-w /var/log/lastfm/` fixes the problem, but permissions get reset
after a package update and the problem reoccurs.
