Package: qt3-qtconfig
Version: 3:3.3.5-1
Severity: wishlist

The default plugin search path for qt3-qtconfig is
"/usr/lib/qt3/plugins;/usr/bin". To use KDE styles,
/usr/lib/kde3/plugins needs to be added by hand. (A usenet message
suggested that installing kdebase would add this dir, but I haven't
tried that because I only want to run a few Qt apps with nice themes,
not all of KDE.)

I think /usr/lib/kde3/plugins should be added by default, since if the
user installs any KDE styles they will definitely want that path to be
present, and if they never install KDE styles there shouldn't be any
performance penalty for having am empty directory in the search path
(certainly not compared to having /usr/bin in there!) Even though
only a few users may care about managing KDE styles through qtconfig, I
don't see a drawback to making things easy for them.
