Whether from launcher or from a terminal, wormux is seg fault immediately after blacking out the screen (x-session does return to normal with a re-centered mouse).
From the terminal, it gets upto, "Read COPYING file for details," two \n later it prints out a segfault. 

Other points that might be worth noting:
Last game was random islands
I have been playing with an altered classic.xml file, though few problems have otherwise occurred from it (freeze on some suicides and accidental infinite teleports)
