Package: gs-common
Version: 0.3.3
Severity: normal

I made my ttf-larabie-* font packages defoma-compatible.
gs-common is _very_ slow on them...
Installing abiword-common, libpango1.0-common, x-ttcidfont-conf
just take about 15-40 seconds each.
installation of gs-common has been taking several minutes now.
it takes about one hour i think, making this package mostly unuseable
in combination with my font packages (on my 933 MHz!!).

output from "apt-get install gs-common"

there definitely is progess:
$ ls /var/lib/defoma/gs.d/dirs/fonts | wc -l
172
a few seconds later:
181
so the script is chewing through the ttf fonts slowly.

But what is it doing??? All i can see there are symlinks being
created...

I've not yet uploaded my new ttf-larabie-packages yet, in order i don't
get many bugs reported against my packages...
but you can get them from http://people.debian.org/~erich/ttf-larabie/
