Package: defoma
Version: 0.10.1
Severity: wishlist

I believe it's important that defoma (I'm filing this bug for defoma
because it's a framework wide issue) correctly handles font names with
spaces in them. This is most important for X, where applications such as
web browsers frequently have to request those fonts (e.g. Comic Sans,
Bookman Old Style etc.). This is also the only thing that currently
makes using defoma as the universal font manager uncomfortable for me.

The current workaround of defoma-hint, replacing the spaces with dots,
is unsatisfactory because one has to manually add alias entries to his X
configuration, which is exactly what defoma is supposed to get rid of.
