Package: multisync
Version: 0.82-5
Severity: normal

When syncing my contacts with evolution and palm, all of the data
is sync'd successfully. This is good.

However, the fields in the palm and the fields in evolution don't
correspond with each other. For example, if I create a new entry
in the palm using the Home phone number, then sync with evolution,
the Home phone number doesn't end up in the 'Home' field in any
of the evolution views. But, if you open the contact editor, the
number is in the 'Home' field.

On the other hand, if I create a new Contact in evolution, with
just a name and Home Phone numberi, then use multisync, the data is
transferred to the palm, but into the Email field of the palm.

Not sure what the problem is here-- maybe incompatible vcard
specifications?

I'd really like to get the working since multisync is much more
reliable than gnome-pilot at this point.

Thanks!

Jamie Strandboge
