Package: tla-load-dirs
Version: 1.0.11
Severity: normal

I don't think it is clear what should happen if the source tree
contains files that tla by default considers "unrecognized".

For a good example, .cvsignore. On my first attempt to import bsdgames, with
the help of tla_load_dirs, I got:

--- cut ---
>tla import
These files violate naming conventions:

.cvsignore
adventure/.cvsignore
arithmetic/.cvsignore
atc/.cvsignore
backgammon/backgammon/.cvsignore
backgammon/common_source/.cvsignore
backgammon/teachgammon/.cvsignore

fortune/fortune/.cvsignore
fortune/strfile/.cvsignore
fortune/unstr/.cvsignore

import: import aborted
--- cut ---

There are three options I can think of:
1. somehow force tla to accept this file as a source file.
2. delete the file, .cvsignore files aren't used by tla.
3. complain with an error.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but it would appear tla-load-dirs currently does
3. Even if I am wrong here, it is not clear for the initial import if
I should do 1 or 2.

1. would be preferred by me, as it is least likely to discard important files
by mistaken. I can't think of any easy way to change the unrecognized RE to
treat .cvsignore as a special case. (maybe remove the unrecognized
all-together?)

2. would also be acceptable in this particular case.

3. for an example of an upstream source file have a look at
bsdgames_2.14.orig.tar.gz (I would expect 2.13 in stable or 2.15 in unstable to
be the same).

Any comments/suggestions?

Thanks
