Package: openerp-server Version: 5.0.6-3 Severity: important I was curious about CRM capability of OpenERP, so gave it a try. This is my first install and I might have done anything wrong, but the system did not completely created its database. I installed Debian packages for both client and server, then created the PostgreSQL user, configured the server to point to the right host/port, run the server, run the client. Using the client, I configured a new database using simplified interface and CRM profile. When the configuration was complete and a user created, I selected to directly logging in, but the client interface stopped working. This resulted in a main window not responding a in a dialog window (named "OpenERP - Next Step of Configuration") blocked as well. The windows are not repainting when exposed on screen. All I can do is pressing the close button from the window title, but even this action will trigger a metacity dialog: "No response from window" with "force exit" "wait" options. Bye, Giuseppe
