Recently, I put my batteries in backwards and accidently wiped the
memory in my Palm IIIxe (oops).  When I put it in the cradle and hit
the hotsync button, I'm asked if I'd like to restore.  I'd love to
restore :> It then begins uploading things to the Palm.  It runs for
several minutes, then gpilotd gets stuck in an infinite loop, using up
all available CPU.  The Palm eventually decides its lost contact with
the host.  Let me know if there's any further information I can
provide, or if you can suggest a workaround!
