Package: modconf Version: 0.3.0 I have a pII machine with two ethernet adaptors, the first, pci with no problems. The second is a smc isa adaptor. I am using the 2.6.18 kernel. In early releases of kernel I have been able to use the modconf gui to install the wd module with parameters to bring the smc card up as eth1. With later kernel releases I have not. The file /lib/modules/2.6.18-1-686/kernel/drivers/net/wd.ko exists on the machine, but when I invoke the modconf gui the wd module does not appear as an installable option. Regards Richard Bell
