Package: wvdial
Version: 1.56-1
Severity: important

wvdial silently fails the configuration step of package installation on my etch system. The current version of wvdial is identical in both etch and sid.

wvdial generates no error messages, it simply exits with failure. Here is the output if I put "set -x" at the begining of /var/lib/dpkg/info/wvdial.config

Hey,

I can't reproduce this on lenny, squeeze or unstable...
Furthermore this bug was already tagged unreproducible in 2007, therefore i'm
closing this report now.

If someone hits the problem again, please reopen.

Greetings
Patrick
