Package: qtparted
Version: 0.4.5-1
Severity: normal

'qtparted' is helpful and creates log files:

    % ls /var/log/qtparted-200*
    /var/log/qtparted-20040414-16h41m48s.log  /var/log/qtparted-20050629-12h02m30s.log
    /var/log/qtparted-20040428-03h52m37s.log  /var/log/qtparted-20050629-12h04m29s.log
    /var/log/qtparted-20040428-04h02m05s.log  /var/log/qtparted-20060303-19h22m41s.log
    /var/log/qtparted-20050207-04h31m31s.log  /var/log/qtparted-20060304-00h15m23s.log
    /var/log/qtparted-20050629-12h01m05s.log

...any compressed?:

    % ls /var/log/qtparted-200* | xargs file | grep compr || echo no
    no

It'd be better if the old log files were compressed, (automatically, using
a util like 'logrotate' maybe); e.g.:

    % ls /var/log/ppp.l*
    /var/log/ppp.log    /var/log/ppp.log.1.gz  /var/log/ppp.log.3.gz
    /var/log/ppp.log.0  /var/log/ppp.log.2.gz  /var/log/ppp.log.4.gz

Hope this helps...
