Package: wmtz
Version: 0.7-3
Severity: normal

I am (at least for another 8 or so hours) in Daylight Savings Time for my
timezone. I have wmtz configured to look at my current timezone as well as
others in the United States. The display is showing standard time (ie: EST
instead of EDT). Other programs on the system are accurately identifying
the current zone as EDT. It is displaying the proper time, however.

Pertinent lines from my .wmtzrc:

time1=TZONE
time2=TZONE
time3=TZONE
time4=xxx
time5=TZONE

utdiff1=America/New_York
utdiff2=America/Chicago
utdiff3=America/Los_Angeles
utdiff4=0
utdiff5=GMT

You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/166526 in Debian BTS
against the package wmtz. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/596550. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
