Package: nstx Severity: wishlist Version: 1.1-beta4-1 First off, thanks for packaging (and upstream for writing) nstx. I'd actually like to suggest that the daemon be modified so that it is capable of passing through real dns requests unrelated to nstx to a real live DNS server. I'm not totally sure how this would work yet, myself, but ideally you'd have bind or similar running on some port besides 53, and packets for bind would be sent there instead of being handled by nstx. [I personally haven't walked through the details of nstx myself, so it's possible that I've missed some basic fundamental reason why this is not possible.] Don Armstrong -- There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance. -- William's Law http://www.donarmstrong.com http://rzlab.ucr.eduAttachment: signature.asc
