giftui seems like a candidate for removal from Debian:

* orphaned
* low and declining popcon
* inactive upstream (last activity was a comment on a bug in 2006)

In addition, since GiFTui is a GUI for file-sharing networks, it's
network-facing (so, potentially security-sensitive), and is not useful if the
networks/protocols it uses are no longer popular (I don't know whether they
are).

If you want to keep this package around in Debian, please adopt it and close
this bug.

If you don't think it's worth keeping, please send the following commands
to control@bugs.debian.org, replacing nnnnnn with this bug's number:

severity nnnnnn normal
reassign nnnnnn ftp.debian.org
retitle nnnnnn RM: giftui -- RoM; orphaned, low popcon, inactive upstream

giftui has been removed from Debian unstable by the ftp-masters (perhaps
accidentally, due to mis-reassignment of
<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=564934>, but whatever) so
I'm closing its bugs.
