Package: fonter Version: 1.7-8 In fonter's 'Char Table' window, characters 00 and 07-0F are displayed as blank, even though they actually contain symbols. If the cursor is moved over one of these characters in the 'Char Table' window, its bitmap is displayed in the 'Editor' window, and it can be edited, but the 'Char Table' entry remains blank. Until I discovered this, I had suffered considerable puzzlement as to how an application could display characters that apparently didn't exist in the font. I suggest that the code for drawing the 'Char Table' window be modified so that all characters are displayed correctly. I am using: Debian 3.0r0 libc6 2.2.5-11.2 locally built with -march=i686 Kernel 2.4.21-pre5-ac3 -- Pigeon Be kind to pigeons Get my GPG key here: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x21C61F7FAttachment: pgpiLBytUtMI5.pgp

Version: 1.7-9+rm You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/205833 in Debian BTS against the package fonter. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will remain open for older distributions. For more information about this package's removal, read http://bugs.debian.org/300591. That bug might give the reasons why this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements. Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question. Thank you for your contribution to Debian. -- Marco Rodrigues
