Oh joy! Madman on Debian. This looks very promising. However, the first
thing I tried didn't work. :) I tried editing tags with the interface.
That is, click on the artist line, edit, enter, and then nothing. The
tag wasn't modified, and the line was returned to blank.

I tell myself: this is impossible, no such blatant bug would be left
like this, so I tested this further.

What happens is that I can't edit files which don't already have *some*
id3 tag attached. I am able to modify existing tags, and to add new tags
to files, as long as those files already contain some tag (e.g. artist).

You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/253376 in Debian BTS
against the package madman. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/384397. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Marco Rodrigues
