Package: madman
Version: 0.93.0-3
Severity: normal

Editing the genre tag on an mp3 file, I get a 'Segmentation Fault' right
after hitting enter. May be unrelated, but an odd quirk is that the
first letter I type (after clicking on the genre field in either the
upper search window or the lower playlist window) isn't displayed, but
manman reacts by changing the text edit field to a dropdown box.

The last few lines from strace:
open("/home/mmoore/mp3_at_work/Summer_Blahs_Mix/09_ClockDVA_TheAct.mp3",
O_RDWR) = 7
fstat64(7, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=10194155, ...}) = 0

The file in particular that causes this has id3 info for title and
artist, but not genre. ... I tried this again with a file that did have
id3 data with a 'genre' field already there, and I could edit it no
problem.

You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/270706 in Debian BTS
against the package madman. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/384397. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
