Bug#561370: sun-java6-plugin: Iceweasel "loses" Java plugin
Package: sun-java6-plugin
Version: 6-12-1
Severity: important
I try to use the page https://www.internet-sparbuch.de/default_wiso.aspx#10
(Sorry: login required). If I click on the link "Einkommensteuer 2007 starten"
usually a new Window with a Java Applet starts (which connects to a citrix
server).
Sometimes, everything works fine bit sometimes iceweasel pops up an alert box:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
| Die Seite mit der Adresse https://www.internetr-sparbuch.de/ meldet:
|
| Für die Ausführung des Applets ist Java erforderlich .
| Bitte aktivieren Sie Java und starten den Browser ggf. neu!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which translates as "for the execution of the applet java is required. Please
activate Java and restart the browser".
Indeed, restarting the browser solves the problem *sometimes*. I dont have the
slightest idea how to reproduce this bug reliably.
/If/ the applets starts, everything works fine.
Any ideas? Please ask if you need further information.
Thanks,
Sebastian
