by the way, these codes come from a non-default setting (i.e., the menu
entry "VT220 keyboard"). In that case, you might want to set $TERM to
"xterm-vt220".
With the default resource settings, home/end keys send either
^[OH^[OF (for application mode)
^[[H^[[F (for normal mode)
