Package: qemacs Version: 0.2+really0.3pre12-2 Severity: normal When running "qe -nw" in an uxterm, the cursor is sometimes left as yellow instead of white. If this happens, when the cursor starts to move, it will become black, which is invisible. I'm unable to determine the exact trigger for it to start doing this, but once it does, it will happen every time the editor is started after that. However, if you run it in screen and connect a new uxterm (screen -x), the cursor is visible in that window while being invisible in the first. I have tried both with the ucs-fonts from http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ucs-fonts.html and with unifont, but this problem has occurred in uxterms using both. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux bouncing 2.4.18 #14 Tue Jul 16 18:26:24 BST 2002 i586 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 Versions of packages qemacs depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpng2 1.0.12-3 PNG library - runtime ii xlibs 4.1.0-16 X Window System client libraries

Version: 0.3.1.cvs.20050713-5+rm You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/156863 in Debian BTS against the package qemacs. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will remain open for older distributions. For more information about this package's removal, read http://bugs.debian.org/550492. That bug might give the reasons why this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements. Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question. Thank you for your contribution to Debian. -- Marco Rodrigues
