Package: update-cluster-hosts
Severity: wishlist

Greetings,

In order to make rsh work more automatically, it would be nice if "update-cluster-regenerate hosts" could admin /etc/hosts.equiv as well as /etc/hosts if requested/configured to do so. I think this would be useful and would fall within the scope of this package, and a couple of other files might fall in this scope too (hosts.deny?).

Thanks,

The update-cluster package has been removed from Debian so we are closing
the bugs that were still opened against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/435897 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
