Package: i8kutils Version: 1.25 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch, upstream I suggest a small, non-intrusive option be added to i8kmon as described below... I have attached a small patch which implements the option. It works (at least) against i8kutils-1.25. The option serves to prevent sourcing ~/.i8kmon. This would be most useful when running i8kmon from an init-script - as sourcing the /root/.i8kmon file might often be inappropriate. To that end, the patch also edits the example-init file as illustration (and manpage too). Of course, if you wish to use this at all you may prefer different option-names than "--nouserconfig, -nc", and different wording in the manpage, etc... I hope I submitted this in the correct fashion...
