Bug#554416: openntpd: -p option refused by ntpd
Package: openntpd
Version: 3.9p1+debian-3
Severity: normal
-p <pidfile> option should be accepted by ntpd (at the very least for
compatibility with other ntp daemons). If not, man page and init script
should be modified to reflect this.
homero:~# /etc/init.d/ntp start
Starting NTP server: ntpd/usr/sbin/ntpd: invalid option -- 'p'
usage: ntpd [-dSs] [-f file]
failed!
Thanks, Fer
