Package: mimedecode Version: 1.9-2 A (somewhat beta) new version of mimedecode is available at <URL:http://ymbj/progs.linux.html#mimedecode> It incorporates the nesting fix in 1.9-2 - I think. I reimplemented the fix in order to eliminate a few issues related to boundary matching - for one thing, I wanted a strict mode, which the new version has; it also has a switch which enables broken (extremely relaxed) checking. I've also added some code to deal with multipart/signed parts, since changing them generally results in no-longer-valid signatures :-) The problem described in bug 173230 is present in this version. If you have no objection and because it normally makes sense to maintain the package if you're also upstream, I'll happily take over maintenance of the package; but (for now, at least) I'll need a sponsor... -- | Darren Salt | nr. Version: 1.9-4+rm You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/173631 in Debian BTS against the package mimedecode. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will remain open for older distributions. For more information about this package's removal, read http://bugs.debian.org/354177. That bug might give the reasons why this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements. Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question. Thank you for your contribution to Debian. -- Marco Rodrigues
