For the default, the manual page says, "don't do anything in PostScript,
use the printer default."

> $ mpage -t /home/morph/matrixhasu.altervista.org/uni/sicurezza/CQ.ps |

For one -t, the manual page says, "force printer to do duplex."

> $ mpage -t -t /home/morph/matrixhasu.altervista.org/uni/sicurezza/CQ.ps
> | grep Duplex

> << /Duplex true /Tumble true >> setpagedevice

For two -t options, the manual page says, "force printer not to do it."

> $ mpage -t -t -t
> /home/morph/matrixhasu.altervista.org/uni/sicurezza/CQ.ps | grep
> Duplex
> $

For thre -t options, the manual page says, "force printer to do duplex."


All of the -t states in Debian's mpage 2.5.6-1 are exactly the opposite
of what they should be.  Please swap them around.
